  • Ordered the pork belly bao to try. The bao bun is so soft and fresh. The pork belly was also soft and tasty but there was only one small piece of it in the bao. I wish I ordered a different flavour as the filling in those look more substantial.

  • We had a work lunch that was catered by the wonderful Mamachau! Everything was super delicious! Great options for vegans and vegetarians too. But I have to say their Korean fried chicken is one of the best . The steamed baos were just amazing . Highly recommended!

  • Got the rice bow and honestly was a little underwhelming. Firstly the box is too small to eat out of. The chicken was great, but with the rice, a bit bland/dry. Good presentation. Great pickled vegis. Nothing bad about the overall meal but I won’t drive across town for it either

  • Catering was amazing and our guests loved the food! Excellent communication throughout the process and very helpful with accommodating allergies. Thanks very much Mamachau team, we will be back for more catering orders (and so will our guests).

  • Fantastic little roadside eatery with soft, fluffy bao, crispy spring rolls and punchy Vietnamese coffee. We had a selection of bao including the pork, kfc, spicy sweet kfc, eggplant and silken tofu with a serving of the mc spring rolls. Highlights for me included the spicy sweet kfc, eggplant and tofu but honestly everything tasted amazing. Quick service in a centralised location, the only thing I could ask for would be a bigger venue as seating is extremely limited.

  • This food was amazing they really know how to make things delicious from baos, to salads, and their chicken wings are so tasty. Nothing disappointed and even better was their service. Would be ideal for catering as their spreads are impressive. Definitely drop by and get some take away.

  • I had the opportunity to try their Bao buns and surely didn't disappoint. I had the Fried chicken bao and crispy fish bao. They were both good, but the crispy fish bao was my favourite and the tatare sauce adds up a great flavour to it . The prices are very reasonable and the service was fast. It's a great city spot for Bao buns.

  • Slightly obsessed with this place. The coconut poached chicken is super tender and the flavor is unlike anything I’ve ever had. The fresh rolls with the poached chicken and the green mango with the herbs Was able to try to silence both were flavorful and delicious and fresh. The beef salad was little salty but still super good and herby—and the coconut poached chicken salad was pretty wet so just be prepared, but I will still get them.
